Born                    12.06.1945   the son of a doctor, Dr Hermann Mödder and his wife, Marianne, in Kreiten, Notscheid, near Neuwied.

                           1956-1965    School of mathematical science, Humboldt Grammar School, Cologne. Graduated in 1965 with the Abitur (equivalent to A’ levels).
