By Air
Düsseldorf International Airport
Düsseldorf International Airport is one of Europe’s most important flight destinations and the third-largest airport in Germany. A wide variety of flight routes to and from airports around the world will take you where you want to be, and fast. Düsseldorf International is around 10 km or 6 miles north of Düsseldorf downtown. Frankfurt Airport

The next closest international destination is Cologne-Bonn Airport, which is around 70 km or just under 45 miles from Düsseldorf. The taxi trip to the University Hospital will take around about an hour and cost you about eighty-five euros.

By Train
