The office serves as the administrative focal point for elective overseas patients. It also provides information concerning our specialised clinical departments, facilities, costs and services.
The following pages will tell you everything you need to know about the process, from the initial inquiry to the treatment costs and inpatient care in our clinics at Düsseldorf University Hospital.
We understand your concerns and those of your loved ones when medical treatment becomes necessary. Our aim is to coordinate the treatment process for yourself and your family making it as unstressful as possible. Rest assured you will be in expert hands.

Consultation hours:
Our telephone consultation hours are from Monday to Friday from 10 am to 12 am and from 2 pm to 4 pm.

1.) Patient master data to be filled in by the patient before treatment, see separate form “Personal data for selfpayers” !Attention!: Without this form no treatment is possible!
2.) Passport copy of the patient (and of the patients intermediary if he represents the patient)
3.) Medical information provided by the patient from pre-treating bodies in English or German language (doctors, hospitals, etc.)
4.) Release from obligation to secrecy and authorization - see separate form
5.) Service charge for the doctors treatment assessment and preparation of the costs estimate of € 100 (will be offset against the final invoice after the treatment has taken place)
6.) Based on the medical information you send us our experts propose a therapy.
7.) Due to this therapy we draw up for the patient the estimated costs for the treatment and send it by e-mail to the patient (or represents if there is a power of authorization).
8.) The patient transfers the sum in total. (Advance payment)
9.) After receiving the sum in total, we arrange for the patient an appointment.
10.) We write an invitation if needed, with date of appointment.
11.) The patient comes to our office (COIP) for admission, followed by treatment.
12.) After discharging the patient we raise the final invoices and if so refund money on to patient´s account.
