Forschungsprofil

Dr. Kathrin Woitha ist seit 2025 wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Institut für Medizinische Soziologie. Ihre Promotion schloss sie 2014 zu dem Thema „Development of quality indicators and ranking for the organisation of palliative care in Europe“ an der Radboud Universität Nijmegen in den Niederlanden ab. Seit 2014 arbeitete sie in verschiedenen Projekten im In- und Ausland als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin. 

Ihr Forschungsschwerpunkt sind die Versorgungsforschung im Bereich der Organisation der Palliativmedizin, Quality-of-Life-Care, Qualitätsindikatoren, klinischen Komplexinterventionen untersucht mit Mixed-Methods-Ansätzen.
