The Centre for Health and Society (chs) was established in 2012. It is characterized by a high degree of interdisciplinarity, which enables and drives excellent research. The staff members of the affiliated institutes primarily come from the fields of population-based medicine/population medicine, public health, and health services research. The thematic diversity and depth of the chs are reflected in its connection with the natural, social, cultural, and humanities sciences, as well as in its close collaboration with the clinical research areas of the Medical Faculty.
