The Institute of Pathology of the Heinrich-Heine University / University Hospital of Düsseldorf (Chair: Univ.-Prof. Dr. Irene Esposito) has an open position for a
Research Assistant (f/m/d) with Bachelor’s Degree (WHK)
for dedicated support for one of our ongoing projects. The focus of the project is to
develop digital reporting templates using special tools for automatization and standardization of pathology reports.
Your role:
You will develop and work with a preexisting reporting program
You will be responsible for the implementation of relevant parameters in the system
You will contribute to digitally co-registration of the radiological images and digitalized histopathology slides
You will provide support for the integration of the created templates in the institute’s laboratory information system
Required qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in informatics/ bioinformatics or related field
Interest in software development and experience with coding / programming
Experience with digital image analysis
Good organizational skills, curious personality and willingness to work independently
Very good German and/or English speaking skills
The position is available immediately for the next 18 months, max. 17 hrs/week.
