Inflammatory Bowel Disease
Our research group aims to improve the understanding of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and to optimize its treatment. To this end, we participate in clinical studies in which patients from our outpatient clinic may be enrolled, should they be interested and meet the relevant eligibility criteria.
In addition, we collaborate with basic research groups to gain further insights into the development and regulation of inflammatory processes and, consequently, the pathophysiology of IBD.
