The AG Groeber-Becker research group is dedicated to advancing preclinical ophthalmic research by developing innovative, non-animal model systems. Our research focuses on establishing scientifically robust and ethically responsible alternatives to animal testing, ensuring the safe and effective evaluation of novel therapeutic approaches. Furthermore, we leverage our expertise in tissue engineering and biotechnology to develop next-generation biological ocular implants, contributing to the advancement of regenerative and personalized ophthalmic medicine.
