AG Biermann-Ruben: Language and Movement
Our focus of interest is the representation of language in the brain. Language functions are distributed across different areas in the brain and we investigate which areas contribute to language processing and how they interact. We predominantly use magnetoencephalography, transcranial stimulation and behavioural experiments. Moreover, our group is concerned with Gilles de la Tourette syndrome. Our research mainly is basic research and regarding the language domain we collaborate with linguists and philosophers.
