9th Scientific Conference of the Arsi University

At the Arsi University Annual Scientific Conference, researchers from GHIDA actively contributed to the scientific program through oral presentations and discussions with leading Ethiopian scientists in April 2026. Prof. Tafese B. Tufa and Dr. Pascal Massion presented current research projects on infectious diseases, including intestinal coccidian infections in people living with HIV and antimicrobial resistance, fostering scientific exchange and strengthening national research collaborations.

The conference provided an important platform to discuss ongoing projects, establish new collaborations, and exchange ideas with researchers from universities and hospitals across Ethiopia. Participation highlighted GHIDA's commitment to advancing collaborative research and translating scientific findings into improved patient care and public health throughout the country.
