freie Postdoc-Stelle!

The research group Experimental Vascular Medicine at the Clinic for Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at the Heinrich Heine University Medical Center of Duesseldorf invites applicants for a Postdoc position.

We are looking for an accomplished, highly motivated and career oriented young scientist, preferably with a strong interest in cell/molecular biology and biomedical research. Applicants should hold a PhD, DVM or MD (Dr. rer. nat., Dr. med., Dr. med. vet).

In the DFG funded project we intend to study the impact of IL-6 signaling on hepatic thrombopoietin production, platelet turnover and platelet activation upon acute inflammation (Thromboinflammation). The study includes different in vitro experiments and verification in transgenic mouse models. After an initial period of training, the Postdoc candidate should work independently and self-motivated.

Handicapped applicants will be preferentially considered in case of equivalent qualification. Salary according to TV-L.

We are looking for an accomplished, highly motivated and career oriented young scientist, preferably with a strong interest in cell/molecular biology and biomedical research. Applicants should hold a Diploma / Master Degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Veterinary Medicine or a related discipline.
