T-cell immuneresponse in tuberculosis

T-cells have an important meaning for the immune response in tuberculosis, but not every T-cell response protects infected people. The aim of the following subprojects is the characterization of i) the role of co-infections and factors from the environment, ii) the influence of co-factors (e.g. IL-7) to the function from T-cells, iii) anti-mycobacterial effectorfunction in an in vitro cytotoxicity assay.
