14th European Congress on Tropical Medicine and International Health (ECTMIH) in Hamburg

From September 29th until October 2nd, the European Conference on Tropical Medicine and International Health (ECTMIH) was hosted in Hamburg, Germany, by Federation of European Societies for Tropical Medicine and International Health (FESTMIH) and the Bernhard Nocht Institute for Tropical Medicine. Held biennially, the conference provides a key platform for exchange and networking in the fields of tropical medicine and international health.
GHIDA was well represented with an oral presentation on the ARSUNA project as well as a poster presentation on the interim results of the C. difficile study, featuring data from Asella Referral and Teaching Hospital. Additionally, during the AMR session, the STAIRS project was presented, emphasizing the various aspects of the ongoing research.
The social program, organized primarily by the Bernhard Nocht Institut in celebration of its 125th anniversary, included for example a concert by a Ghanaian musician at the Elbphilharmonie and other opportunities for networking and exchange.
