Dr. Angélique Herrler

Senior Scientist

Angélique Herrler first studied Health Promotion and Health Management in Magdeburg (B.A., 2013-2016) and then Health Services Research and Implementation Science at the University of Heidelberg (M.Sc., 2016-2019). During her studies, she worked at the University Hospitals of Heidelberg (Communication Working Group) and Mannheim (Mannheim Institute for Public Health, Social and Preventive Medicine). Among other things, she supported the PART-CHILD project funded by the Health Services Research Innovation Fund.

After her Master's degree, she completed her PhD at the University of Cologne on patient-centred outpatient healthcare for over 80-year-olds (PhD in Health Sciences, 2019-2023). In November 2022, she took over the operational management as consortium leader for the PICAR (Pediatric Integrated Care) project at the UKD, funded by the Health Services Research Innovation Fund. Since 2023, she has been an elected co-spokesperson for the Qualitative Methods working group in the German Network for Health Services Research. She is also involved in university debating on a voluntary basis and is a certified debating trainer.
