Yousra El Makrini studied pharmacy at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf and passed her third state examination in January 2022. She has been a licensed pharmacist since then.
During her practical year in 2021, she began a second degree in Applied Health Sciences at the Bochum University of Applied Sciences. The focus of her master's degree is on prevention and health promotion.
She has been working as a research assistant in the PICAR project since December 2022 and has been operational project manager for the KiRa project since June 2023.
