Heart-Lung Interaction
Our study group is dedicated to exploring modern concepts for the treatment of pulmonary diseases. We focus on endotyping and understanding the inflammatory pathways, which are becoming increasingly important not only in asthma but also in COPD and non-CF bronchiectasis. This approach opens up a variety of targeted therapeutic options in pneumology, aiming to improve patient outcomes through personalized medicine.
In the field of lung cancer, personalized medicine is gaining significant importance. Rapid advancements in research are transforming thoracic oncology into a more tailored discipline, heavily guided by molecular and genetic insights. Our clinic is at the forefront of this evolution, integrating the latest scientific discoveries to offer innovative, individualized treatment strategies.
Please feel free to contact Prof. Dr. Stefan Krüger or Dr. Kathrin Fricke if you could imagine joining the field of innovative pneumology.
